Category News

How does Covid-19 and the national lockdown which commences at midnight tomorrow, affect the marketing of your property?

Websites and all other online marketing:
In spite of Covid-19, we in the real estate industry is in the relatively fortunate position that much of estate agents' work, these days, happens in the electronic sphere.

As an estate agency we have online systems, tools and networks in place. Our own websites and platforms all remain unaffected.

All third party forums (such as Property24 and Private Property) are also unaffected at the moment and we do not anticipate a change.

Viewings:
We will, in view of the lockdown, employ viewing methods such as virtual tours, video footage and other methods of remotely showcasing your property.

We will be in constant communication with you to implement solutions to each situation.

New listings:
We will liaise with you to obtain and prepare marketing material of the highest possible quality. Once again, solutions will be implemented in each case, in consultation with you.

Offers to purchase and other necessary documents:
Exchanges of documents and appending of signatures thereto can be done electronically and you will be assisted by the agent and principal in each instance.

 Virtual show houses:
Our agents will, in consultation with you, arrange virtual show houses and virtual events to showcase your property.

 Agent contact:
You will be contacted by the property professional who is assisting you, who will advise you and discuss with you the best marketing ideas, not just in view of Covid-19 and the lockdown, but also the economic factors (positive and negative) as well as other factors that might be impacting the marketing and sale of your property during this time.

Our Office:
From Wednesday 25 March all our agents will be working remotely, in their and your interest.
